Facilitating capital access
The Government asked the State Bank of Viet Nam to keep a close watch on macro-economic fluctuations, the domestic and international monetary markets, and create favorable ways for capital access.
The Ministry of Planning and Investment was assigned to work with the Ministry of Finance to speed up the disbursement of ODA, FDI, and state budget investment projects.
Early building restructuring projects
Ministries and agencies were asked to compose restructuring projects, including the Agricultural restructuring project in connection with building of new rural areas, cooperative economics, and climate change; the Project on restructuring of credit organizations and settlement of non-performing loans in the 2016-2020 period; the Project on restructuring of State budget spending and public debts; the Project on SOEs restructuring; the Project on restructuring public units; and the Medium-term financial and budget investment plan in the 2016-2020 period.
Tough punishment on food hygiene infringements
The Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs was assigned to work with other ministries, agencies, and localities to implement social security policies.
The Ministry of Health was asked to prevent infectious diseases and tighten management of food hygiene regulations, especially in industrial parks.
Controlling river and marine environment
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment takes the prime responsibility for working with related ministries, agencies, and local authorities to inspect the discharging of sewage to rivers; review, amend, and supplement regulations on environmental protection./.
