The project also aims to promote the creation of works of literature, arts and science as well as valuable performances, recordings and broadcasts in service of the public, contributing to the country’s socio-economic development and international integration cause.
Under the project, 100% of provinces and centrally run cities will have part-time or full-time officials in charge of management and enforcement of copyright and related rights by 2025, and 100% of those officials have access to training programs in the field.
In addition, about 700 arrivals of individuals who are subjects of copyright and related rights will be enabled to participate in training classes on copyright and related rights each year. The level-4 online public services will be also provided for the registration of copyright and related rights.
In order to achieve the abovementioned goals, the project will conduct research, review and evaluation to propose amendments and supplements to the legal regulations on management and enforcement of copyright and related rights, ensuring them in accordance with international practices. It also seeks to strengthen management and enforcement capacity and raise awareness of the observance of laws on copyright and related rights among subjects of copyright and related rights and those who use copyrighted materials.
