The Government chief is accompanied by Minister-Chairman Mai Tien Dung, Minister of Science and Technology Chu Ngoc Anh, Minister of Home Affairs Le Vinh Tan, Minister-Chairman of the Committee for Ethnic Affairs Do Van Chien, State Auditor Ho Duc Phoc and several leaders of other ministries.

This is Viet Nam’s second participation in the expanded G7 Summit, which demonstrates the country’s rising role and position in the international arena thanks to its active and responsible contributions to the common matters of the international community.

PM Phuc is expected to deliver his remarks at this year’s expanded G7 Summit and have bilateral meetings with leaders to the Summit.

Meanwhile, PM Phuc’s visit to Canada, which takes place on the occasion of the 45th founding anniversary of diplomatic ties (1973-2018), aims to foster the new framework of the bilateral comprehensive partnership reached during Canadian PM Justin Trudeau’s official visit to Viet Nam in November last year.

During the visit, PM Phuc will hold talks with his Canadian counterpart Justin Trudeau and meet with Canadian business community./.
