VGP – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc expressed his hope that Denmark would accelerate the ratification of the Viet Nam-EU free trade agreement while receiving Danish Minister for Development Cooperation Ulla Tornas on Friday.

He also expected Denmark would help boost trade and investment ties between Viet Nam and the EU
The Vietnamese Government is striving to improve business environment to create favorable conditions for foreign investors’ long-term investments in the Southeast Asian country, including those from Denmark, PM Phuc said.
The PM took the occasion to extend sincere thanks to the Government and people of Denmark for their valuable support and assistance for Viet Nam so far.
Impressed with Viet Nam’s economic growth, Minister Ulla Tornas suggested the two countries should expand cooperation in such fields like food safety and renewable energy.
She also spoke highly of Viet Nam’s efforts in fighting corruption and improving business environment in favor of investors./.
