At the reception for President of the Industrial & Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) Yi Huiman, PM Phuc congratulated the bank on its successful operation and suggested them work with Vietnamese partners to boost presence in Viet Nam.
Mr. Yi Huiman took the occasion to thank the Vietnamese Government’s support for the ICBC since its first debut in Viet Nam in 2010. He also hoped that the branch of ICBC in Viet Nam would serve as a financial bridge for the two countries.
The guest leader expressed a wish that the Vietnamese Government would create favorable ways for the ICBC to partake in infrastructure projects and others in favor of Viet Nam’s development.
The same day, PM Phuc received the President of the Agricultural Bank of China in which he praised the successful operation of bank and its contributions to transactions at Viet Nam-China border areas and trade and economic ties.
The PM also promised to consider a suggestion for the Agricultural Bank of China to open a branch in Viet Nam
On this occasion, PM Phuc also hosted separate receptions for leaders from the Zhongxing Telecommunication Equipment Corporation and Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd./.
