PM Phuc expressed his pleasure to witness the great achievements that Russian people have attained in national construction under the leadership of the Russian Federation Council and Ms. Matvienko.
The PM took the occasion to convey the official invitation of Vietnamese National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan to visit Viet Nam in 2016.
The two leaders highly valued the bilateral dynamic and effective ties and strategic projects which not only brought back economic benefits but also raised the role of the two countries in the region and the world at large.
PM Phuc hoped that the two legislature braches would strengthen exchanges of delegations to share experience.
For her part, Ms. Matvienko congratulated the successful organization of the 12th Party Congress which set development orientations for Viet Nam in the next five years.
The Russian Duma backs the comprehensive strategic partnership with Viet Nam and encourages the State and Government to promote the multifaceted ties with the Southeast Asian nation, the Chairperson added.
She also said that the Viet Nam-Russia Friendship Parliamentary Group has operated actively and assisted Russian ministries, sectors, and localities in deploying agreements reached with Viet Nam.
The Chairperson said she believes that the agreements reached during the PM's official tour would give a strong impetus to cementing and deepening the Viet Nam-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership./.
