VGP – Vietnamese PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc and his Kuwaiti counterpart Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah on Friday vowed to further strengthen the bilateral relations, especially in such fields like trade, petroleum, investment, development aid, labor and education.

PM Phuc reiterated that Viet Nam attaches importance to the friendship and cooperation with Kuwait and Middle East countries for development in each country and for peace and friendship in the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and the world as well.
The Kuwaiti PM urged the two sides to double efforts to ensure the progress of the Nghi Son petrochemical complex project while hoping for more joint projects in this area.
He also pledged to consider granting more scholars and welcoming more migrant workers from Viet Nam.
Regarding regional and international issues of common concern, both sides agreed on the need to take more practical measures to settle disputes by peaceful means based on international law.
After their talks, the two PMs witnessed the signing ceremony of documents on culture-art, sports, and petroleum cooperation./.
