VGP - Legislators will cast secret ballots on Thursday to elect the new Prime Minister during a plenary session in Ha Noi as part of the 13th Legislature’s 11th working session.
The nominated candidate is Politburo member and Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, who is also National Assembly deputy for the 13th tenure.
The newly-elected Prime Minister is expected to deliver a sworn-in speech right after the voting outcome is released.
The National Assembly on April 6 agreed on the relief of Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung from his post./.
