Viet Nam is listed among nations seriously hit by climate change, he said, suggesting the WB cooperate and support Viet Nam to realize short and long-term measures addressing climate change as well as supply preferential Official Development Assistance (ODA) for Viet Nam in tackling difficulties arising from socio-economic development process.

Ms. Victoria Kwakwa hailed the PM’s active activities in advocating the private sector and assisting businesses in overcoming obstacles to stabilize their operations, confirming that the WB always supports Viet Nam to enhance the relations between the two sides and tackle difficulties and challenges.

The WB is willing to help Viet Nam get access to preferential capital for developing renewable energy, reducing consequences of climate change and realizing Viet Nam’s commitments at the Paris climate conference (COP21).

At the meeting, host and guest discussed measures to address droughts and sea-water intrusion in the Central, the Central Highlands and the Mekong Delta.
