The Vietnamese PM expected that the success of the summit will contribute to strengthening the cooperative relations among the three nations for each side’s socio-economic development and prosperity.
The Vietnamese Government chief affirmed Viet Nam’s consistent policy of consolidating and enhancing the relationship with Cambodia, hailing the neighboring country’s achievements in its socio-economic development.
Meanwhile, PM Hun Sen also affirmed his country’s consistent policy of consolidating and enhancing the traditional friendship and comprehensive and long-term relations with Viet Nam.
The two PMs discussed on a wide range of issues of the bilateral ties and ways to further promote cooperation in economy, trade and to ensure security and political sustainability.
They hoped to soon complete border demarcation and landmark planting work to build a borderline of peace, friendship, stability and development, facilitating border economic development and people-to-people exchanges.
PM Phuc suggested the Cambodian Government create favorable conditions for Vietnamese living and working in Cambodia.
The two PMs agreed to closely cooperate in organizing activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties (June 24, 2017), confirming their presence at the inauguration ceremony of the Long Binh-Chrey Thom Bridge in early 2017.
On the occasion, the Vietnamese PM invited PM Hun Sen and his spouse to pay an official visit to Viet Nam and the Cambodian PM accepted the invitation.
