At the meeting with the Malaysian Minister, PM Phuc affirmed that Viet Nam attaches importance to the relationship with Malaysia, especially in terms of economy, trade and investment.
The PM hailed the Malaysia’s projects in Vie Nam as they have not only brought about benefits for the two nations’ businesses but also contributed to Viet Nam’s socio-economic development.
He expressed his hope that the two sides will soon approve and deploy the Viet Nam-Malaysia Action Plan in the 2017-2019 period and propose measures to accelerate the two-way trade turnover.
The Vietnamese Government will continue reforming administrative procedures and facilitating foreign investment inflows, he asserted, adding that Viet Nam regards foreign investors as part of the nation’s economy.
He urged the two nations to boost cooperation in other areas including tourism, energy, infrastructure, finance-banking, real estate, manufacturing and processing.
For his side, Minister Mustapa Mohamed said he is leading the biggest ever business delegation to Viet Nam, which showed how Malaysian businesses are interested in the neighboring market.
He thanked the Vietnamese functional ministries and agencies for creating favorable conditions for Malaysian enterprises to expand their operations in Viet Nam.

Welcoming adviser Isao Iijima, PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc confirmed that Viet Nam regards Japan as top and long-term partner of Viet Nam and the nation attaches importance to strengthening cooperation with the Japanese side.
To accelerate Viet Nam-Japan extensive strategic partnership relations, the PM asked the two sides to continue enhancement of political trust through high-ranking delegation exchanges and contacts .
He suggested both side promote cooperation in potential areas such as agriculture, labor, culture, tourism and exchanges between localities.
Mr. Isao Iijima expected that the Vietnamese Government will continue facilitating the Japan’s investment in Viet Nam, affirming to do his utmost to boost the two sides’ relationship./.
