The order was released just one day Deputy PM Trinh Dinh Dung made a fact-finding tour to the central province of Ha Tinh to inspect the seriousness of mysterious mass fish deaths along the central coast.
The Government chief also tasked relevant ministries to promptly clarify the causes of unusual fish deaths and report to him measures to strictly fine violations.
Tones of dead fish have been discovered on beaches of the central coast of Ha Tinh, Quang Tri, Quang Binh and Thua Thien-Hue, sparking anxiety among local residents over the past days./.
