This is part of the measures enshrined in the Government chief’s Directive No. 19/CT-TTg released Saturday.
Non-essential services like beauty salons, karaoke, massage parlors, bars, entertainment venues will continue to remain closed until further notice , according to the Directive.
Services like wholesale and retail, lotteries, hotels and other accommodation facilities, and restaurants, sport training facilities, tourist sites are allowed to reopen provided that the safety measures are deployed.
Passenger road transport services are allowed to resume but all drivers and passengers shall have to wear face masks while soap and sanitizers must be available for passengers to wash hands.
Provinces and cities with high risk of COVID-19 shall continue to implement the preventive measures of the Directive No. 16 dated on March 31, 2020.
Those with risk of COVID-19 shall encourage citizens not to leave home if not necessary and follow preventive instructions provided by competent authorities.
Gatherings of more than 20 people at public places, outside public offices, schools, hospitals shall be banned and citizens are advised to keep minimum distance of one meter from each other.
Localities with low risk of COVID-19 shall encourage citizens leave home if not necessary and gatherings of more than 30 people shall be prohibited at public places, outside public offices, schools, and hospitals.
People are encouraged to keep minimum distance of one meter from each other.
PM Phuc tasked the Ministries of Public Security, National Defense, and Foreign Affairs to continue restricting entry of foreign nationals and those allowed to enter Viet Nam shall have to be quarantined for 14 days as currently regulated.
As of 3 pm on Saturday, Viet Nam confirmed 270 COVID-19 infection cases with no fatalities./.
